Recording and production

Far from exclusive to any one category of music, projects at Loud Sun range broadly from traditional sounds to the more experimental.  Bands, ensembles, and solo artists can all be accommodated in the studio. With Pro Tools digital recording software, powerful and smooth editing is at our command, though the focus remains on working closely with the artist to bring out their best.

Mixing and mastering

After working hard on your recording it's time to blend all of those tracks and sounds together.  This is known as the mixing phase, a creative process that can benefit greatly from experience and an accurate listening environment.  Mastering is 'the final polish' applied after the mixing is complete.  Many records have been mixed and mastered at Loud Sun with great success.

Post Production Audio

Mixing for film requires more than just creating a nice overall sound.  It also means following the rhythm of the cinematography and video editing, applying noise reduction, and adding tasteful sound design as needed.  Loud Sun offers high quality post production audio for video at a fraction of the cost of many other major studios.
